Images immortalise a moment in time and capture it forever. A competent photographer bottles it into something we call photographs. Something you can go back to time and again to relive, reminisce and reflect.

I’ve been taking pictures for over 30 years, and I am still profoundly moved by the still pictures’ ability to convey both a series of events as well as the emotion and ‘feel’ of those moments.

In all my work, be it a private event, show or protest, it’s the peripheral and often overlooked things I want to convey. Those not reliant on our sight alone. The smells, the sounds, the sense of being there I suppose.

Often shooting from a first-person participant’s angle, I want viewers and observers to feel that they’re seeing through the eyes of someone who was there as part of the scene. Snatching the best bits as memories for later.

It’s those memories I want to bring back for you.

From weddings (nudge, nudge - the season is now upon us!) to events, private gatherings, corporate or promotional shoots and more. I have broad experience across the spectrum, from studio to in-situ and less formal social settings.
